The latest senior wealth management executive moves in North America.

Wedbush
Wedbush Securities has appointed William Brinckerhoff as managing director, regional executive. Brinckerhoff serves the Central Region which includes the firm’s retail offices in Denver. 

Brinckerhoff joins the firm's other regional executives, Frank Epinger (Los Angeles), Frank Story (New York/Tri State) and most recently Rob Spawn (Northern Region). He is based in Denver, Colorado and reports to senior vice president and head of private wealth management branch network, Don Gorsch.

With more than 30 years of experience in wealth management, Brinckerhoff began his career with Boettcher & Co as a young advisor and assistant branch manager before moving on to Paine Webber/UBS, where he spent the following 25 years. Prior to joining Wedbush Securities, he served as a senior practice management consultant with Morgan Stanley.

Brinckerhoff received his bachelor's degree in business from Western Colorado University in Gunnison, Colorado. He also holds his Series 7, 8, 63, and 65 licenses.

Wedbush, which was founded in 1995, is based in Los Angeles and has 100 registered offices.

Northern Trust
Northern Trust Wealth Management has hired a new team to join its foundation and institutional advisors practice in the Northeast.

Michael Collins joins Northern Trust as a regional director and senior vice president covering the New York, Connecticut and New England markets. Collins will be based in Boston.

“Michael Collins is a great addition to our Foundation & Institutional Advisors team, and this reflects Northern Trust’s continued commitment to non-profit and institutional clients,” said Darius A Gill, national practice executive, Northern Trust foundation and institutional advisors group. “Mike’s extensive non-profit experience, in addition to his impressive investment management designations, positions him well to advise our clients and help us build our growing practice in the Northeast markets.”

Prior to this new role, Collins served as a senior director at TIAA Endowment and Philanthropic Services. He also served as regional director in the Northeast markets for Russell Investments.

Collins is a 26-year financial services veteran with a finance degree from Georgetown University, a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) certification from Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania, and a Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA) certification from University of Chicago Booth.
