Umpqua Bank
Umpqua Bank, a subsidiary of Umpqua Holdings Corporation, has appointed Jeff Marshall as its first chief investment strategist, as part of the bank’s expansion of its wealth management operation. 

Marshall has more than 20 years of investment management and research experience. Previously, he held positions at Sanford C Bernstein, Windermere Investments and Convergent Wealth Advisors.

With the addition of a chief investment strategist, Umpqua’s proprietary market and investment research will enhance the bank’s suite of wealth management solutions for high net worth individuals and institutional clients.

Wilmington Trust
Wilmington Trust has hired Mary McGovern as a senior private banker at its New Jersey office.

In this role, she will provide lending strategies and cash management advice to high net worth clients. She will also be responsible for coordinating a broad range of specialized services available through Wilmington Trust’s wealth advisory team and M&T Bank.

McGovern has nearly two decades of experience in private banking and providing financial advice. Before joining Wilmington Trust, she spent 13 years at US Trust, where she served as a senior vice president and private client manager. Previously, she also held positions at Chase and Merrill Lynch.
