The latest moves in wealth management across North America.

True Private Wealth Advisors
Oregon-based financial advisory firm True Private Wealth Advisors has hired The Sanders Coffee Group to its operation. 

Based in Eugene, Oregon, financial advisors Scott Sanders and Jesse Coffee have launched the group after leaving Merrill Lynch. The Sanders Coffee Group has approximately $95 million in client assets.

Sanders is a founder and senior wealth advisor of The Sanders Coffee Group.  He is responsible for providing financial planning to individuals, families and business owners.

Coffee, founder and wealth advisor, provides expertise in financial planning, wealth transfer, estate planning, insurance and retirement plans.

City National Bank
City National Bank has hired Bill Sappington as an executive vice president to take charge of its private banking and wealth management operations.

The bank, part of Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), said Sappington will oversee the operation which caters to wealth individuals, families, professional services firms and non-profit organisations. 

City National Bank’s wealth management subsidiaries include City National Rochdale, which is headquartered in Los Angeles and and New York and oversees more than $36 billion of client assets. Another division is City National Securities.

Sappington, who has more than 30 years’ experience in financial services, will report to Russell Goldsmith, chairman and chief executive of City National Bank and chairman of RBC Wealth Management’s US division. 

Bank of America
Bank of America has appointed Kerri Schroeder as Seattle market president. She will succeed Anthony DiBlasi in the role.

After serving more than four years as market president, DiBlasi is relocating to California to become the Merrill Lynch Wealth Management market executive for Greater Los Angeles.

As market president for Seattle, Schroeder will work throughout the Puget Sound area to build relationships with businesses, families and individuals in the region.

In addition to her role as market president, Schroeder is the West Coast commercial credit executive for global commercial banking and business banking for Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Royal Bank of Canada
RBC Wealth Management, has named Pat Grady as director of the firm’s Paramus branch. Grady joined the firm in 2014 to lead the firm’s Parsippany branch, prior to his promotion to Paramus branch director.

Previously, Grady, a 30-year industry veteran, managed the Wayne, NJ branch at Wells Fargo. He will oversee 13 financial advisors and an additional six support staff.
