The Sharp Financial
Group, the financial management firm offering a range of
services including family office and wealth management, has
appointed Kevin Rudd as executive managing director.
Rudd has worked for more than 35 years providing middle-market companies with services related to mergers and acquisitions, capital sourcing and financial advice. He has mainly worked with family-owned and closely held businesses. He co-founded Curtis Financial Group. In 2014, Rudd combined Curtis Financial Group with Baker Tilly Capital, where he co-managed more than 20 employees across offices in Philadelphia, Chicago, Milwaukee and Madison.
In his new role, Rudd will oversee Sharp's transaction advisory group and will work with clients throughout the M&A process.

Mellon Wealth Management has appointed Jennifer Barnaby as a
senior client strategist, working with high net worth
individuals, family offices, business owners, executives, and
foundations and endowments on their wealth strategy and planning.
Based in Atlanta, she reports directly to Southeast Regional
president, Kent Moegerle.
Prior to this, Barnaby was at Branch Banking & Trust Company (Truist), where she worked in several roles. Most recently she was vice president, wealth advisor, serving as a relationship manager for HNW clients She earned a bachelor of business administration degree in finance from The University of Georgia, Terry College of Business, where she served as a former Young Alumni Board Member. She is a FINRA Series 7 and 66 license holder, and is in the process of completing the CFP® Certification Education Program through the University of Georgia.
Raymond James
Raymond James,
the Florida-based wealth management house, has welcomed financial
advisors Jared Stricklin, Darryl Dunn and Robert Meeder to its
employee advisor channel. They are based in Overland Park,
Kansas.
The team, which includes financial planning consultants Alin Frentzen and Lucas Harris and senior registered sales associates Deborah Doss and Wendy Jennings, comes from UBS, where the advisors previously managed approximately $1.2 billion in client assets.
The advisors join Raymond James’s new Kansas City office location, and together operate as MDS Advisors of Raymond James.
