Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? - Saxo, SANNE

The latest moves in wealth management across Asia-Pacific.

SANNE
SANNE, the alternative asset and corporate services firm, has opened a new office in Tokyo, and hired Mark Bennett as country head of its Japanese business.

The office adds to SANNE’s other Asia locations: it has opened offices in Shanghai, Hong Kong and Singapore.

The team at the office initially concentrates on serving existing real estate clients in the region and continue to serve alternative asset managers, SANNE, a London-listed business said. In total, the firm employs more than 1,400 people and administers structures and funds with more than £215 billion ($274.5 billion).

Saxo
Saxo Capital Markets’ chief executive of its Australian business is to join as director of private wealth services at BT Financial Group, media reports said.

Ben Smoker takes up the role after serving as Saxo’s Australian CEO for about three years, the Financial Standard reported. (This publication attempted to contact the firm and will update in due course.)

Saxo's Asia-Pacific chief executive Adam Reynolds was quoted saying that the firm had already started the search for Smoker's replacement.

Copenhagen-based Saxo provides a number of services, including wealth management.
