Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? - Rockefeller, Argent

The latest moves in the North American wealth management industry.
Rockefeller Capital Management has appointed Carissa Morganstein as a senior vice president and client advisor in the Rockefeller Global Family Office, starting in September. She will join a number of senior figures in this group.
Joining from Ayco, the family office unit of Goldman Sachs, Morganstein will be based in the firm’s offices in Saratoga Springs, New York.
“Carissa is an accomplished, trusted advisor to sophisticated families, with deep expertise in trust and estates, multi-generational planning, philanthropy and investment advisory,” Gregory Fleming, president and chief executive of Rockefeller Capital Management, said.
Morganstein joined Ayco in 2010 and is a graduate of the University of Rochester and received her JD from Pace University School of Law, where she concentrated in estate and trust law with a secondary focus on federal income, gift and estate taxation.

Trust Company, which operates in the southern states of the
US, has opened an office in Baton Rouge, taking its footprint to
12 states.
Trust officers David Thibodeaux and Dominique Richard will focus on growing Argent’s presence throughout the Baton Rouge metropolitan area, reporting to Louisiana market president Gary Moore. Thibodeaux joined Argent in January 2019 after spending 18 years as vice president and trust officer with JP Morgan Private Bank in Baton Rouge. In that position, he managed more than 150 client relationships. He is a certified trust and financial advisor (CTFA) and received his bachelor of science in business administration and finance from Nicolls State University.
Richard graduated from Louisiana State University and before joining Argent in January this year, she had spent the past 11 years as associate trust and trust administrator with JP Morgan Private Bank in Baton Rouge. At that job, she provided fiduciary-level direction and support to more than 200 clients.
