The latest moves and appointments in and around the North American wealth management sector.

Robertson Stephens Wealth Management
California-based Robertson Stephens Wealth Management has opened a new office in Pasadena.

Karen McClintock, who has joined as managing director and principal, has brought more than $160 million in advisory assets. She specializes in investment management, philanthropic and wealth planning services and will be joined by her colleague, Dinah Wellington.

With the addition of McClintock to the firm, Robertson Stephens’ assets are now over $3.6 billion as of November 2021. The new team is the fifth to join in the last three months. The firm has 62 employees across twelve locations in San Francisco, Marin County and Santa Rosa, California, New York, Sun Valley and Boise, Idaho, Holmdel, New Jersey, Austin and Houston, Texas, Seattle, Washington, Denver, Colorado, and now Pasadena, California.

Raymond James
Raymond James has welcomed financial advisor L “Travis” McIntosh to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – its employee advisor channel. He is based in Sumter, South Carolina and has more than 20 years’ experience in financial services.

McIntosh heads McIntosh Wealth Management of Raymond James. He previously managed more than $109 million in client assets with Truist Wealth. He started his career in 2000 as a financial advisor with A G Edwards & Sons, and joined BB&T Scott & Stringfellow in 2006, which later became Truist. 

Cindy McGhee, senior client service associate, who has been on McIntosh’s team since 2016, joined him in the new office.

Advisor Group
Advisor Group, the US network of wealth management firms has recruited Wade Roberts and John Hachey, two independent financial advisors based in Georgia who between them oversee $164 million in total client assets.

The separate solo advisory practices have joined through Advisor Group’s subsidiary and network member firm Triad Advisors for brokerage services and Triad Hybrid Solutions, one of Triad's two corporate registered investment advisors, to support their fee-based books of business. Advisor Group also includes FSC Securities, Royal Alliance Associates, SagePoint Financial, Securities America and Woodbury Financial Services.

Roberts has 25 years’ experience as an financial advisor. Through his practice based in Woodstock, Georgia., he specializes in wealth planning, estate planning and overall portfolio management.

Based in Kennesaw, Georgia, Hachey provides his clients with investment counsel, financial planning services, life-transition planning and retirement planning. He has 19 years' experience as a financial advisor.
