Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? - Regions Bank, Waddell & Reed Financial

The latest moves in wealth management across North America.

Regions Bank
US-based Regions Bank has appointed Leslie Carter-Prall as head of private wealth management.

She will report to Bill Ritter, head of regions wealth management. Carter-Prall was most recently private wealth management central region executive.

Carter-Prall replaces Kate Danella, who has been appointed head of strategic planning and corporate development.

In this expanded role, Danella will lead a team responsible for strategic planning; mergers, acquisitions and divestitures; and corporate development. Danella will report directly to the president and chief executive, John Turner.

Waddell & Reed
Waddell & Reed Financial, a US-based investment management and financial planning firm, has appointed Mark Buyle as senior vice president, general counsel and chief legal officer.

He will serve as a member of the firm’s executive leadership team and lead the legal, investment management compliance, broker-dealer compliance and internal audit departments. Buyle reports to Philip Sanders, chief executive of Waddell & Reed Financial.

Buyle joined Waddell & Reed in 1995 as senior attorney and, over the years, has provided legal guidance to nearly every area of the company. He most recently served as interim general counsel, a role he assumed in April.
