Raymond James
has brought in financial advisors Jule Eldridge, Jason Newton,
and Robb Sasser to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm’s
employee advisor broker/dealer – in Florence, South Carolina.
Sasser, Eldridge and Newton come from Wells Fargo Advisors, where they previously managed $645 million in client assets. They will be located in the Florence office managed by complex manager Dan Parker and joined by financial planning consultant Tyler Morris, senior registered client service associate Ashley Alexander, and practice marketing associate Margie Wood. The team operates as Crescent Advisory Partners of Raymond James.
Eldridge, senior vice president, investments, has been in the financial services industry for over 24 years. Prior to joining Raymond James, he worked for Wells Fargo Advisors for 19 years. Eldridge is a graduate of Wofford College with a degree in business administration and earned his MBA from Francis Marion University.
Newton, vice president, investments, has more than 17 years of financial services experience and is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional. Prior to joining Raymond James, Newton was a vice president of investments at Wells Fargo Advisors. He is a graduate of Francis Marion University with a degree in business administration.
Sasser, managing director, has been in the financial services industry for more than 33 years. Prior to joining the firm, he was a senior vice president and managing director of investments at Wells Fargo Advisors. Sasser is a graduate of Presbyterian College with a degree in business administration.
Fiduciary Trust Company International
Fiduciary Trust Company International, a subsidiary of
financial group Franklin Templeton, has appointed Gene Todd as
executive vice president for business development.
Based in San Mateo, California, where Franklin Templeton is based, Todd will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of client development. Todd will develop and implement strategies to increase Fiduciary Trust’s market share, revenue, and profitability. These strategies will include initiatives for driving new business among high net worth individuals and families in the US, Latin America, Europe, and Asia.
Todd has more than 25 years of experience in areas including wealth management, private equity, venture capital, M&A, and leveraged buyouts. He joins Fiduciary Trust Company International from First Bank in St Louis, where he served as executive vice president and head of the wealth management group. Todd previously served as director of sales at Key Private Bank in Cleveland, where he created a wealth management insurance platform. Prior to this, Todd was a senior managing director and head of the Equity Sponsor Group at National City Corp, now PNC Bank.
