provider of financial advisory services, has appointed Michael
Reed as chief of staff and chief strategic officer.
An experienced figure in the sector, he joins the executive team including Cary Stamp, CEO, Patrick Thompson, chief operating officer, Jack Schanne, chief investment officer, and Ryan Swenson, chief growth officer.
Reed’s role as chief strategic officer is a newly created one. His job involves leading the firm’s M&A efforts and making strategic hires.
The company has $415 million in assets under management and employs 14 people, including seven advisors. It operates across 32 states.
“As we grow the firm, both organically and through M&A, we needed a leader who could help us effectively scale, Cary Stamp, the founder of the business, said.
Previously, Reed was chief operating officer and managing member of Dakota Wealth Management, a registered investment advisor in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

has welcomed financial advisor Barbara Paneral to Raymond James &
Associates (RJA) – the firm's employee advisor channel – in Grand
Rapids, Michigan (pictured).
Paneral arrives from Baird, where she previously managed over $134 million in client assets. She and senior investment portfolio associate Stephen Paneral operate as Paneral Family Wealth Advisory of Raymond James, focusing on providing sophisticated wealth planning for individuals and families, with a specialized focus on single, widowed and divorced women.
Axtella
Axtella, a parent company of Sigma Planning Corporation – the RIA
– and broker-dealers – has appointed Rob Engle as chief revenue
officer. Engle joins from Grove Point Financial.
At Grove Point, Engle served as executive vice president of business development. He will oversee several core disciplines within Axtella, previously known as SPS Family, including business development, wealth planning and practice management.
The firm has also promoted Kristi DeLongchamp to SVP of business development – who reports to Engle. Maria Bethel has been promoted SVP of marketing, communications.
Savvy Advisors
Savvy
Advisors, a US registered investment advisor affiliated with
Savvy Wealth, has appointed Erich Yost and Ryan Bond as principal
wealth managers.
Yost and Bond are based in the Greater Philadelphia area.
Prior to the new role, Yost worked at Veritable, LP, where he was a portfolio manager and a member of a team that managed $2.5 billion in assets for ultra-high net worth individuals and families. Yost has more than 12 years’ industry experience.
Bond serves a client base made up of primarily high net worth investors and joins from Empower (formerly Personal Capital), where he worked as a senior financial advisor. In his prior role, Bond employed his holistic approach to financial planning while leading 300 client relationships with over $430 million in combined assets under management (AUM). Early in his career, Bond worked as an advisor at Vanguard.
Ameriprise
Financial advisor Nicole Boulais has joined the independent
channel of Ameriprise Financial from Raymond James where she
managed $170 million in client assets. Boulais joined an
established Ameriprise practice, The McCulla Group, in Pella,
Iowa, which is led by Ameriprise private wealth advisor Matthew
McCulla.
