RBC Wealth Management US has named Nick Angilletta as its new head of equity for middle markets/institutional middle markets, based in New York.

The business is a joint venture between RBC Capital Markets and RBC Wealth Management – US created to serve mid-tier institutional clients.

Angilletta has 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a particular focus on the wealth management capital markets space. Most recently, he was MD and head of capital markets Americas, wealth management at Deutsche Bank, which included overseeing fixed income, equities, and equity capital markets. Previously, he held several leadership roles at Citigroup and Morgan Stanley.

Justin Spitzer, who previously served as head of equity for middle markets and institutional middle markets, has moved into a new role leading RBC’s US Research group.
