The latest senior wealth management executive moves in North America.

Q Advisors
Investment banking boutique Q Advisors, which works with private entrepreneurs and other clients, has named Dmitry Netis as managing director, business development. He has 24 years’ industry experience. 

Most recently, Netis consulted for several public and private company clients under the practice he founded, Dmitry Netis & Company, and was the chief financial officer and chief operating officer of privately-held CafeX Communications. He was also an MD and senior equity research analyst with Stephens Inc. Prior to that, he spent over 10 years at William Blair & Company as a founding member of the technology, media and telecoms team.

Carson Group
Omaha, Nebraska-based Carson Group has brought in a change management and leadership development figure, Dr Gerry Herbison, to its advisor coaching business line. 

Dr Herbison is also the adjunct professor of leadership and practice management at The American College of Financial Services. Previously he served there as a full-time assistant professor of management studies and the leadership programs director. Prior to joining The College, Dr Herbison worked as a registered representative, investment advisor, and regional vice president for AXA. During his 10-year tenure with the company, he was honored as an elite regional vice president.

Dr Herbison holds CFP Certification, and earned the following American College designations: Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) in 1998, the Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL) in 2005, and the Chartered Leadership Fellow (CLF) in 2010. He holds a BS in training design, and completed the masters of science in management (MSM) degree at The American College in 2008. He completed his doctoral degree in business administration at Wilmington University in 2013.

Heidrick & Struggles
Heidrick & Struggles, the executive search group that operates in areas including wealth management, has appointed Laszlo Bock to its board of directors. He has been named an independent director.

Bock is a co-founder and CEO of Humu Inc, the software development firm, and former senior vice president of people operations at Google. Prior to Google, Bock served in various executive and management consulting roles at General Electric and McKinsey & Company.

"Laszlo's deep experience empowering individuals and teams to drive employee engagement and accelerate company performance will be invaluable. Separately, Heidrick & Struggles also said director Gary Knell has notified its board that he will won’t stand for re-election at the firm's 2020 annual meeting of stockholders.
