The latest moves in the North American wealth management market.

Mercer
Mercer Global Advisors, the US-based wealth manager, has promoted Kara Duckworth, CFP® and CDFA®, to the post of managing director of client experience. This is a newly-created role and she is based at the Newport Beach office.

Duckworth joins the firm’s senior leadership team. She has been at the firm since 2017 as part of Duckworth Wealth Advisors. Mercer bought the firm that she and her father founded in 1998. In addition to her 20-plus years serving HNW individuals, Duckworth previously worked on client experience initiatives for The Walt Disney Company.

Duckworth will continue her role as a client advisor and leading InvestHERS, an initiative launched in January 2018 by Mercer Advisors to bring more women into the wealth management industry and to provide a customized experience for its female clients.
