Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? - LPL Financial, Kestra

The latest moves in wealth management from across North America.
LPL Financial
LPL Financial
has brought over advisor Robert Paolini of Paolini Advisors. His
firm has aligned with Independent Advisor Alliance, which offers
support and services to advisors using LPL Financial’s
broker-dealer and corporate or hybrid registered investment
advisor platforms.
Paolini reported having served approximately $150 million of client brokerage, advisory and retirement plan assets. He joins from FSC Securities, part of the Advisor Group network of broker-dealers.
He founded the Medford Lakes, New Jersey-based firm in 2000, serving a client base of professionals, business owners and retirees. The firm offers comprehensive wealth management, including tax and accounting services, with support from a team including Kathy Onofrio, investment operations manager, Dorothy Paolini, director of client relations, and Brandon Clement, a wealth management assistant who plans to become a licensed financial advisor in the firm.
Kestra
Acquisition-minded Kestra Financial,
the advisor platform, has hired financial sales professional Joe
Line as its new vice president of business development.
The role means Line will be responsible for recruiting "seasoned advisors" to the firm’s platform, actively building the centers of influence pipeline, executing home office visits, and managing the advisor relationship through the onboarding process, Texas-based Kestra said in a statement earlier this week.
Prior to this, Line served as senior vice president at Wells Fargo FiNet where he managed a nine-state region. He also held senior level positions at LPL Financial from 2002 to 2014 and Merrill Lynch from 2000 to 2002.
Recent months have been busy for Kestra. In July it launched Bluespring Wealth Partners, a new business focused on buying firms in the space - a sign of vigorous merger and acquisition activity. The move came a few weeks after Kestra itself became majority-owned by private equity house Warburg Pincus. Bluespring has already made a number of deals.
