The latest senior wealth management moves, appointments and personnel changes in North America.

Katten, the international law firm, announced it has appointed Josh Kaufman as a partner in its capital markets practice and he will serve as a managing partner in its new Miami office.

Kaufman will also serve as lead partner of the firm’s public company advisory practice.

His practice embraces a range of equity and debt capital markets transactions, and he has counseled clients operating in a wide range of industries, including life sciences, technology and data centers, digital assets, real estate investment trusts, financial services and emerging growth companies, and across geographies, including Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. 

Katten said its new office enables Katten to better serve clients across the private wealth, hedge fund, private equity, private credit, M&A, real estate, financial services, family office, capital markets, public company and emerging growth sectors.
