Glenmede
Glenmede, an
independently-owned asset management firm, has appointed Robert
Daly as director of fixed income. Daly will also serve as a
member of Glenmede’s investment policy committee.
In this role, Daly will report to Peter Zuleba, the director of investment management of Glenmede and president of its institutional investment division, Glenmede Investment Management.
Daly will oversee over $4 billion of tax-exempt and taxable fixed-income strategies for institutions, consultants and private clients. Daly will manage a team of traders, portfolio managers, credit analysts and other professionals.
He will be based in Philadelphia and has over 14 years of experience. He previously worked at BlackRock, where he served as a senior portfolio manager of US and global fixed income strategies on both institutional and retail platforms.
FOX
Family
Office Exchange, the US-based network, has formed a chief
executive advisory board to provide strategic counsel for its
business opportunities.
The board's members will give advice to founder Sara Hamilton, president Alexandre Monnier, and the leadership team at FOX. The members are:
-- Barbara Goodstein's experience includes the following roles: president and CEO at Tiger21, chief marketing officer at Vonage, chief marketing officer at AXA Equitable, senior vice president at JP Morgan Chase, and president and CEO at Instinet.com;
-- Nate Hamilton CFA is co-founder and managing partner of Heritage Partners Group, a private equity investment and operations platform. Prior to founding Heritage, Hamilton worked in private equity, investment banking, and sales and trading across several institutions including Goldman Sachs, UBS, and as a co-founder of FDX Capital, a direct-investment platform built for FOX family offices;
-- Stephen Martiros is founder and CEO of Financial Building Blocks® a cloud-based financial education software platform, and chair of the Babson Institute for Family Entrepreneurship. He previously served as managing partner of CCC Alliance, a Boston-based network of single-family offices; and is the founder of Summitas, a software company that provides family offices and investment advisors with a secure portal for collaboration; and
-- Carl Robinson PhD is a founding partner of Vantage Leadership Consulting and served as the managing partner for 18 years. Vantage Leadership, based in Chicago, specializes in executive assessment and development. Robinson is a clinical psychologist who has spent most of his career assisting businesses in the management of change and in developing strategies for succession planning and leadership continuity.
Personal Capital
California-based Personal Capital, a
registered investment advisor and digital wealth manager, has
promoted Craig Birk to chief investment officer (CIO).
As the company's first CIO and leader of the Personal Capital Advisors investment committee, Birk is responsible for Personal Capital's investment approach and portfolio strategy in terms of risk, regional allocation, currency exposure and investment themes.
Birk has served as executive vice president of portfolio management since joining Personal Capital in 2011. Prior to Personal Capital, Birk helped lead the portfolio management team at Fisher Investments.
