Evercore
Evercore Wealth Management has appointed Thomas Olchon as a
managing director and wealth and fiduciary advisor, joining the
firm from Bessemer Trust, where he led a team serving ultra-high
net worth clients. Prior to joining Bessemer Trust in 2004,
Olchon worked as a portfolio manager at US Trust, where he
started his career in 2000.
Olchon will be based in New York and will serve families, foundations and endowments across the US. He reports to Chris Zander, chief wealth and fiduciary advisor.
Rockefeller
A former UK business leader and Treasury Minister, Lord (Paul)
Myners, who has been associated with moves to push right for
shareholders and improve savings, has been appointed to the board
of Rockefeller Capital Management. Myers will join the firm’s
board of directors.
In addition to serving as Treasury Minister and on the Court of the Bank of England, Lord Myners ran one of the UK’s largest institutional investors for nearly 20 years, and has served on the boards of GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, Lloyd’s of London, Coutts & Co., and the Bank of New York. Lord Myners has also chaired several public UK companies such as retailer Marks & Spencer and Land Securities, Europe’s largest REIT. He became a member of the Court of the Bank of England in 2004 and was appointed Treasury Minister in the fall of 2008, with a specific brief for managing the UK’s response to the banking crisis. He was at the same time elevated to membership of The House of Lords. Lord Myners is the chairman and a partner of Cevian Capital; chairman of Edelman UK; and chancellor of the University of Exeter. He is the former chair of the London School of Economics.
He joins former Vanguard chairman and CEO John “Jack” Brennan as an independent director of Rockefeller Capital Management.

US-based HFG Wealth
Management has promoted Cameron Capriotti as wealth
advisor.
Capriotti began his financial services career with KPMG.
In his new role, he will establish new client relationships in addition to providing advisory services and support to a select group of current clients.
