Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? - EisnerAmper, Merrill Lynch

The latest wealth management moves in senior roles across North America.
EisnerAmper
Professional services firm EisnerAmper, which engages
with the wealth management space among others sectors, has
promoted three of its senior figures. The moves come a few days
after it announced three other
moves.
Nicholas Tsafos is named partner-in-charge of the New York office. Tsafos is responsible for the day-to-day operations and long-term growth strategy for the New York office, which has more than 700 professionals. He is also on the board of directors of EisnerAmper Global.
Diane Wasser is elevated to partner-in-charge of the New Jersey offices. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations and long-term growth strategy for the New Jersey offices, which have more than 400 professionals. She is also the founder and partner-in-charge of the firm’s pension services group.
Peter J Cogan becomes managing partner, financial services industry. He will be responsible for the strategic growth of the Financial Services practice (which services more than 2,500 clients) including the addition of complementary services and any needed capabilities. He is also the leader of the firm’s Financial Services Audit and Assurance Services practice, a director of the Cayman Islands practice, and a director and the board chair of EisnerAmper Global.
Matthew Maulbeck becomes a managing partner for audit, with responsibility for overseeing the firm’s audit practice, and focusing on the quality and capabilities of its audit professionals.
The firm has more than 200 partners and principals and 1,900-plus employees. EisnerAmper has also ramped up its presence in Europe and sees the complex, cross-border issues that wealthy families grapple with as a rich seam of gold to be mined.

national business development executive at Merrill
Lynch Wealth Management.
Craig Young reports to Andy Sieg, president of Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. As part of his role, Young supports the firm’s responsible growth strategy, leading programs such as its Advisor Growth Network (AGN), Market Executive Strategy Council, and the FA Advisory Council to Management (ACTM), along with internal events and communications related to these organizations, recognition, and other initiatives.
Prior to this new role, Young most recently served as the MLWM market executive for the Westchester-Greenwich, Connecticut market. He joined Merrill Lynch in 2015 as the associate market executive for what is now Merrill Private Wealth Management in Los Angeles, and from 2016 to 2018 served as the market executive for the Pasadena, California market.
Young is a member of the Bank of America Black Executive Leadership Council and chairman of the Merrill Lynch African American Leadership Council. He holds a BS degree in business administration from California Polytechnic State University where his career as a running back earned him membership in the Cal Poly Athletic Hall of Fame.
