Citi Private Bank
Citi Private
Bank has appointed Lance Bylow and Morgan Dever as private
bankers, to take effect in early August.
Bylow joins as managing director and private banker. In this capacity, Bylow will work with business owners, senior executives, private equity and hedge fund principals, family offices, and endowments to access, analyze and address their comprehensive financial needs. He joins from US Trust, where he held the role of private client advisor.
Dever joins the firm as senior vice president and private banker. In this role, Dever will provide wealth management strategies to the firm’s clients based in the New York City metropolitan region. Previously, Dever served as private client manager at US Trust.
Both Bylow and Dever will be based in New York and report to Ida Liu, global market manager – New York, Citi Private Bank.
The firm also appointed Lisa Yang as an associate banker. Yang will also be based in New York and report to Sean Howard, business manager, ultra-high net worth – Metro New York, Citi Private Bank.
Grant Thornton
Financial services firm Grant
Thornton has appointed Brenda Wagner as its new chief
people and culture officer (CPCO), effective July 16.
As the firm’s CPCO, Wagner will report to Mike McGuire, Grant Thornton’s chief executive.
She will be responsible for all aspects of Grant Thornton’s people and culture organization. This includes talent recruiting and retention strategy, capacity and resource management, people operations and analytics, learning and organizational effectiveness, people experience, and people and culture transformation efforts.
Wagner joins Grant Thornton after nearly four and a half years at IQVIA (formerly QuintilesIMS), where she led compensation and benefits, global talent, and global talent acquisition.
Raymond James
Raymond James
has hired financial advisor Michelle Spaziani, CFP®, to its
independent broker/dealer arm, Raymond James Financial Services.
She is based in Greenfield, Massachusetts
Spaziani joins from Wells Fargo Advisors, where she previously managed about $118 million in client assets and had around $940,000 in annual production. Joining her at Raymond James is Angela Streeter, client service and office manager. The team operates as Summit Behavioral Wealth (Summit) and provides wealth management and financial planning services to a variety of clients, with a focus on behavioral finance.
She began her career as a financial advisor 17 years ago at A G Edwards, which later became Wells Fargo Advisors. In 2008, she earned the Certified Financial Planner ™ certification and, and in 2013 and 2014, she completed graduate financial regulation coursework at the University of Albany. Spaziani holds the industry’s Series 7, 63, 66, 9 and 10 licenses.
Streeter began her financial services industry career at AG Edwards and later moved to Spaziani’s practice, where she has spent the majority of her career.
PIMCO
PIMCO, the fixed income
investment manager, has appointed Sapna Shah, an executive vice
president based in Newport Beach, as head of corporate
responsibility.
Shah was previously responsible for the firm’s global inclusion, diversity and culture initiatives. She will report to Cathy Stahl, managing director and global head of marketing, and work closely on a range of projects and initiatives with PIMCO’s co-chief operating officer, Robin Shanahan, and chief executive, Emmanuel Roman.
In this newly-created role, Shah will drive the development and implementation of PIMCO’s corporate responsibility platform “Purpose at PIMCO”.
Prior to joining PIMCO in 2007, she was with the equity research group of JPMorgan Asset Management.
