Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? - CAIS, Raymond James

The latest senior moves in the North American wealth management industry.

CAIS
CAIS, the US-based alternative investments platform recently interviewed by this publication, said yesterday that it has appointed Abby Salameh as chief marketing officer.

Based in the New York office, Salameh will report to CAIS founder and CEO Matt Brown and join the executive committee, it said.

Salameh brings more than 25 years’ experience serving the independent advisor community, most recently as chief marketing officer at Hightower Advisors. She has also held executive-level positions at other large RIA aggregators, including Kestra and Private Advisor Group. Prior to that, she served as chief marketing officer for TD Ameritrade Institutional Services and was part of the founding team of Investment News.

Since its inception in 2009, CAIS has facilitated more than $13.8 billion in transaction volume. It has recently doubled in size as a result of a $50 million equity investment from Eldridge, the Greenwich, Connecticut-based private investment house.

Raymond James
Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisors Jesse Brookreson and Brian Trymbiski to its employee advisor channel in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.

Operating as Great Oak Investment Management of Raymond James, the team joins from Wells Fargo where they previously managed more than $500 million in assets for a variety of clients including business owners, corporations, families and individuals, nonprofits, as well as captive insurance and automotive reinsurance companies. Also joining the Great Oak Investment Management team is Leigh McKee, sales development associate.

Brookreson, senior vice president, wealth management, began his financial services career in 1997 as a trader and equity specialist working with institutional investors before joining Wells Fargo as a financial advisor in 2005. He holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from LaSalle University.

Trymbiski, first vice president, wealth management, has a decade of financial services experience. A graduate of Ave Maria University, he was a township supervisor of Plumstead Township in Bucks County, Pennsylvania from 2016 to 2021.
