Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? - Bernstein Private WM, HarbourVest Partners

The latest senior wealth management moves across North America.

Bernstein Private Wealth Management, part of US-based AllianceBernstein, has named Bowman Hallagan as head of its office in Dallas, Texas.

Hallagan, a managing director, is now responsible for overseeing client service and the strategic growth of Bernstein’s business in the region. He will continue to work with client teams on complex wealth management issues such as pre-transaction preparation, multigenerational wealth transfer, philanthropy, retirement planning, and asset allocation.

“Dallas-Fort Worth is an increasingly popular hub for corporate headquarters and an attractive location for high net worth families. It was ranked the top US market for growth in office jobs in 2019 by CBRE, with similar growth expected for 2020," David Barnard, head of private wealth management, said.

Hallagan joined Bernstein in 2011 and formerly served as VP and financial advisor for the firm’s Boston office. Prior to Bernstein, Hallagan was an account executive at the Wall Street Journal. He holds a BA in political science and economics from Bucknell University.
