BNY Mellon Wealth Management has named Gary Lutz as regional
director, West Region Private Banking. In this role, he will
oversee banking and lending services for individuals,
entrepreneurs, and endowments and foundations.
Lutz is based in Denver and reports to Rick Calero, head of banking and lending, and Robert Kricena, president, West Region.
Prior to this, Lutz was with Century Bank, where he served as regional president and was previously executive vice president, trust and wealth management and Northern New Mexico Commercial Banking. Prior to joining Century Bank, he was the president of the product group and commercial banking at First Western Trust and president at JFG Wealth Management. He also served in a variety of national and regional leadership and commercial banking roles during his three decades at Wells Fargo.
Lutz earned a bachelor of science in business administration and finance from the University of Colorado in Boulder. Lutz serves on the board of trustees and is a member of the executive committee for the Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra and Chorus. He is also a member of the Denver Art Museum’s Development Committee.

Los Angeles.
Alyssa Do (pictured), Crestone's new executive director of wealth planning, will provide trust, estate, philanthropic and income tax planning to high net worth individuals and their families as she continues to cultivate relationships in California and across the western US.
Before Crestone, Do was most recently managing director at Boston Private, based in Beverly Hills, and spent almost a decade at City National Bank.
"Alyssa is a master at developing estate planning strategies for dynamic entrepreneurs and business owners who are managing complex situations with regard to their trusts and estates," Eric Kramer, managing partner, CEO and chief investment officer of Crestone, said.
The MFO, which is employee-owned, manages more than $3.2 billion in assets.
Do serves on the Crestone Impact Committee, which is responsible for targeting investments made with the intention of generating positive, measurable social and environmental impact along with strong financial results. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Glendale University College of Law. She received a master of laws in taxation from the University of Alabama, and a master of business administration in finance from the University of Southern California. She earned her bachelor of arts degree in economics and sociology from the University of California, Irvine.
Crestone has 51 employees with offices in Boulder, Denver, Austin and now Los Angeles.
