BNY Mellon Investment Management has appointed Deborah Bannon as Asia-Pacific head of consultant relationships and head of client services, the firm said in a statement.

In this newly created role, she will be responsible for managing BNY Mellon Investment Management’s relationships with global consulting firms. 
 
Based out of Hong Kong, Bannon will report to Lindsay Wright, head of distribution and co-head of BNY Mellon Investment Management, APAC.
 
Bannon has over 25 years’ experience working for asset consulting and asset management firms, including over five years as executive director and investments business leader for Mercer Investments (HK), heading up its investment team across North Asia. She also spent eight years as head of institutional business at Pioneer Global Investments Hong Kong, and six years at Royal & Sun Alliance.
