The latest moves in wealth management across North America.

Argent Trust
Argent Trust Company has appointed Sue Turnage to run the newly-opened office in Fort Worth, Texas.

Turnage has 35 years of experience in the financial services industry. As Tarrant County market president, she will manage Argent’s operations in Fort Worth and surrounding communities.

Before joining Argent, Turnage was executive vice president and regional manager for Frost Wealth Advisors/Frost Bank, Tarrant County and North Texas. 

The newly opened Fort Worth office joins the list of Argent’s rapidly growing presence in Texas – with new offices set to open in Austin and Dallas, as well as established locations in Beaumont, Corpus Christi and San Antonio.

Argent Financial Group, domiciled in Ruston, Louisiana, is responsible for more than $17 billion in client assets. It provides individuals, families, institutions, and businesses with a range of wealth management services.

Umpqua Bank
Oregon-headquartered Umpqua Bank has appointed managing directors Shaun Skeris and Rob Pitois, both of whom will be based in Irvine, to lead its wealth management teams across Northern and Southern California. 

The bank also added San Diego private wealth advisors Kathy Gamez and Veronica Rubio as part of its first Southern California wealth management team.

Skeris, senior vice president & managing director, has nearly two decades of wealth management experience. He recently served as senior vice president and Southern California team leader for City National Bank in Irvine.

Pitois, senior vice president & managing director, has more than 17 years of experience in the financial services industry. He was previously team leader for San Diego at City National Bank. 

Gamez, senior vice president & senior private wealth advisor, has more than 25 years of experience serving high net worth clients in the San Diego region. Most recently, Gamez served as senior vice president and private banker for City National Bank in San Diego. 

Rubio, senior vice president & senior private wealth advisor, has around 17 years of financial services experience. Most recently, Rubio served as senior vice president and senior private banker for City National Bank in San Diego.

Citizens Bank
The bank has appointed Kevin Martin as president, Citizens Securities Inc, and head of Citizens Investment Services. Martin joins from JP Morgan, where he held a variety of leadership roles in the company’s brokerage and wealth management businesses.

Citizens Investment Services is the division of Citizens Bank Wealth Management that provides investment and insurance solutions for individuals and business owners. Martin reports to John Bahnken, president of Citizens Bank Wealth Management, Citizens Bank said.

Martin worked at JP Morgan for 20 years; prior to this, he held senior roles at Ernst & Young (EY) and BISYS Fund Services.
