Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? - Argent, Baird, Others

The latest moves in the North American wealth management market.

Argent Trust Company
Argent Trust Company has appointed David Thibodeaux and Dominique Richard as trust officers. Both will be based in Baton Rouge and report to Argent Trust’s Louisiana market president Gary Moore.

Thibodeaux spent the past 18 years as vice president and trust officer with JP Morgan Private Bank, where he managed more than 150 client relationships and specialized in trust and estate administration with an emphasis on Louisiana trust laws, as well as comprehensive investment management strategies.

Richard began her career in trust management after graduating from Louisiana State University. She spent the past 11 years as an associate trust and trust administrator with JP Morgan Private Bank in Baton Rouge where she was responsible for providing direction and support to more than 200 fiduciary client relationships.

Argent Trust Company is a division of Argent Financial Group, and has made a number of appointments in recent weeks and months. Its business footprint extends across the southern states of the US.

Baird
Wealth management house Baird has added Justin Nichols, director, financial advisor, to its Houston-Memorial wealth management office. He is joined by Angela Wingfield, client specialist.

Nichols, an industry veteran, brings more than 20 years of experience to Baird. He is a graduate of University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Nichols’ addition comes on the heels of the announcement that Hilliard Lyons agreed to join Baird. In addition, Baird added 62 financial advisors to its Private Wealth Management group in 2018.

Triad Financial Strategies
Advisors Lincoln Kopetski and Joe Cilley have aligned with Triad Financial Strategies, a firm that is supported by investment advisory and RIA house LPL Financial. Triad, based in Issaquah, Washington, has a total of six advisors and manages about $100 million of client money.

The two advisors previously worked at US Bancorp Investments.
