Management has recruited the team from Koch Wealth
Solutions to join its operation in Minneapolis.
Within the team, the full-service wealth management firm has brought in industry veterans Paul Koch as managing director and private wealth advisor and David Henrikson as vice president and financial advisor, with more than 60 years in the wealth management industry between them. Joining them is Julene Melquist as senior financial associate; Judy Cameron as investment associate; and Michael Capeder as client associate. The group, formerly at UBS, manages more than $350 million in client assets.
Tom Schulenberg, RBC’s director in Minneapolis said the team from Koch is “incredibly well-respected in the area for cultivating strong relationships with clients and developing strategies to best meet their clients’ individual goals and needs.”
RBC Wealth Management is a division of RBC Capital Markets with $344 billion in AuM and operates across 42 US states.
Raymond James
Raymond James
brought in financial advisors Jonathan Palmer, CFP®, and
Alexander Moore, CRPC®, to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – its
employee broker/dealer – in Seattle, Washington.
The advisor duo operate as Palmer & Moore Financial Group of Raymond James and join from Wells Fargo Advisors, where they previously managed approximately $145 million in client assets. Joining them at Raymond James is Janet Lee, senior registered client service representative.
Palmer has been in the financial services industry since 2002. He
began his career as a financial advisor at Wells Fargo, where he
remained for seven years before joining Raymond James. Palmer is
a graduate of the University of California Santa Cruz, where he
earned his bachelor’s degree in economics, and Santa Clara
University, where he received his MBA.
Moore, first vice president, wealth management, joined the
financial industry in 2011, where he began his career as a
financial advisor at Wells Fargo. He earned his bachelor’s degree
from Colorado College, his Master of Science degree from the
University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa, and his Master of
Business Administration from Bainbridge Graduate Institute. He
earned the designation of Chartered Retirement Planning
CounselorSM (CRPC®) from the College for Financial Planning®.
Prio Wealth
Prio Wealth, a
Boston based wealth management firm, has named Melissa Mattison
as chief operating officer and chief compliance officer. Mattison
will head the company’s operations, technology and compliance
teams and report to CEO John Bratschi.
With more than 13 years of experience as a senior financial
leader, Mattison most recently served as chief operating officer
at Athena Capital Advisors.
“Earlier this year we announced our company rebrand as a sign of our firm’s evolution, and this strategic new hire is another example of how we are laying the groundwork for future growth so we can continue to serve clients for the next 30 years,” Bratschi said.
