Reporting to Dan Vene, co-founder, MD, and co-head of iCapital Solutions for iCapital, Carrington will lead iCapital’s efforts to accelerate appropriate adoption of the full range of alternative asset classes and products in the defined contribution market.
The announcement comes after the Trump administration allowed 401(k) retirement accounts to hold private market investments such as private equity, mirroring steps being taken in Europe to widen access. The US has also increased access for Accredited Investors.
