The latest moves, appointments and personnel changes in North American wealth management.
WisdomTree
WisdomTree, which
operates exchange-traded funds, has appointed Beena Joseph as
global head of human resources.
Joseph, who joined the firm in 2014 via its acquisition of Boost ETP, has built the company’s human resources operations since that date.
“Her contributions have continued to shape our HR strategy and foster an inclusive culture that supports global growth,” Jonathan Steinberg, WisdomTree founder and CEO, said.
In her new role, Joseph will report to chief operating officer and president Jarrett Lilien.
WisdomTree has about $139.4 billion in assets under management globally, inclusive of assets under management attributable to its recently completed acquisition of Ceres Partners.
Howden
Howden, a global
insurance broker, has appointed Joe Clark as president and Dale
Krupowicz as head of operations for its private risk solutions
business in the US.
Clark and Krupowicz will lead the development of Howden’s US private client operations – focused on proactive risk management, personalized protection strategies, and an elevated client experience, it said in a statement yesterday.
With more than 20 years’ of experience in the sector, Clark joins from The Liberty Company Insurance Brokers, where he served as president of Liberty Select, Previously, Clark was chief growth officer at Aon Private Risk Management.
Krupowicz, a Certified Advisor of Personal Insurance (CAPI), brings more than 30 years’ experience in high net worth personal insurance. Previously, she was chief operating officer and partner at a boutique personal insurance agency, where she led operational strategy and client services for 17 years.
The group operates in 55 countries across Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, the US, Australia and New Zealand.
Raymond James
Raymond James
has brought in financial advisor Michael J Salerno to its
independent advisor channel.
Salerno, who has more than 30 years’ financial services experience, was previously at Commonwealth Financial Network where he managed about $125 million in client assets. He leads Executive Wealth and Retirement Strategies, based in Flemington, New Jersey, which specializes in personal retirement planning for corporate executives and business owners.
Formerly at Cetera Investment Services, where they managed about $130 million in client assets, the advisors have joined the employee advisor channel of Raymond James. The advisors are Joseph Cobb and Andre Burns, who worked for three years at Cetera.
As Cobb Burns & Associates Wealth Management of Raymond James, they offer a customized approach to wealth management for a diverse range of clients including families and individuals, healthcare professionals, business owners and those in or nearing retirement.
Cobb transitioned to being a financial advisor in 2011 after nine years in mortgage banking. Most recently, he served at Cetera Investment Services for six years. Cobb specializes in long-term financial strategies using portfolio management, retirement planning, estate planning and cash management.
