The latest appointments, moves, and personnel changes in the North American wealth management sector.
UBS
UBS Wealth Management, part of UBS, has appointed former Morgan
Stanley financial advisor James Kosan to its Riverside,
California office. Kosan mainly works with affluent families,
providing family office services and specializing in life
transitions.
At Morgan Stanley, Kosan worked at the US firm from 2012; before that, he spent six years Merrill Lynch.
Osaic
Osaic, the US wealth
management platform with more than $653 billion of assets under
administration, yesterday said it has appointed Kristy Britt as
chief financial officer.
The current CFO, Jon Frojen, is stepping down after five years with the company.
Brit will be based in Osaic’s Scottsdale headquarters and report to president and CEO Jamie Price.
Brit has more than 20 years’ experience in financial management and strategy for global public companies. Previously, she worked at Thomson Reuters, where she held several positions in financial leadership and strategic planning across the business, most recently serving as head of finance for the operations and technology organization.
While at Thomson Reuters, Britt also led the execution of an enterprise-wide change program that impacted all facets of the company’s business.
The Osaic business supports about 11,000 financial professionals.
Raymond James
Four financial advisors in Las Vegas have joined the employee
advisor channel of Raymond James.
The team includes Kerry Withrow, Ben Hamilton, Ryan D’Souza, and Elliot Bloch, as well as practice business manager Terri Criswell. Operating as part of RJA’s Las Vegas branch, The Business Exit Planning Advisors of Raymond James have arrived from RBC Capital Markets, where they managed about $1.1 billion in client assets.
Withrow brings over 30 years of financial services industry experience to his role as managing director. He began his career at Smith Barney Inc (now Morgan Stanley) in 1993, and recently served as managing director during a 25-year tenure at RBC Capital Markets.
Hamilton began working in the financial services industry at Legel, Braswell Securities and has held advisor positions at Prudential Securities and PaineWebber Incorporated, now UBS. Most recently, he served as a senior vice president at RBC during a 26-year tenure.

Risk Management, which provides operational resilience and
business continuity software, has appointed Lisa Schreiber
(pictured below) as chief customer officer.
Lisa Schreiber
Schreiber has more than 25 years’ experience in technology, professional services, and risk management. Most recently, she served as CCO at BlackLine, a Nasdaq-listed enterprise software company; before that, she worked at Forcepoint, a cybersecurity software company. She has also served in executive leadership roles at Oracle, GoldenGate Software, and Charles Schwab.
Cetera Advisors
A financial advisor, Tom Wolf, has joined Cetera Advisors’
network after leaving Arvest Wealth Management. Upon joining
Cetera, Wolf started his own business – Apex Wealth
Management. Wolf’s business had $136 million in assets under
administration as of June 6 this year.

In total, Wolf has seven years of experience in the financial services industry and holds his Series 7 and Series 66 registrations. He has earned both his bachelor's in marketing from Avila University followed by his Juris Doctorate in law from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock's William H Bowen School of Law.
Wolf will be joined at Apex Wealth by his assistant, Tori Dockery, a licensed financial associate who holds her Series 7 and Series 66 registrations. Dockery graduated from Arkansas Tech University with a bachelor's in finance.
