Partners has appointed Jonathan Amoia as a managing director.
Based in Buffalo, New York, he manages about $300 million in
assets for business owners and high net worth and ultra-HNW
families.
Amoia is the founder of Advocate Wealth. Previously, he was partner and MD at Sand Hill Investment Management. He is a Certified Private Wealth Advisor and Certified Exit Planning Advisor.
Neal Gerber Eisenberg
Chicago-based law firm Neal Gerber
Eisenberg has appointed Jeffrey D Glickman as a partner in
its private wealth practice.
Glickman is experienced in estate planning, wealth transfer techniques and trust administration strategies.
“His [Glickman] background in tax-focused estate planning and his experience advising clients and corporate trustees on sophisticated trust and wealth-transfer matters complements the strengths of our private wealth practice,” Neal Gerber Eisenberg, managing partner, said.
Glickman graduated cum laude from Northwestern University School of Law and holds an MAS and BS in accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is active in Chicago’s legal community as a member of The Chicago Bar Association and the Chicago Estate Planning Council.

a law firm, has appointed Mohsen Ghazi to join its private
client services practice as a partner in Chicago.
Ghazi counsels family offices, fund sponsors, and high net worth clients on structuring tax-advantaged funds and family offices in the US and abroad. He also advises clients on forming, launching, and managing investment funds – including private equity, real estate, credit, and alternative assets.
“Amid ongoing economic and regulatory uncertainty, today’s high net worth individuals are in need of forward-looking tax counsel centered around family office structuring, fund structuring, and cross-border estate planning,” Stephanie Loomis-Price, chair of the firm’s private client services practice, said. “Mohsen’s fluency in domestic and international tax matters, as well as private funds’ most pressing legal issues, will be invaluable to our team and clients alike.”
Ghazi earned his bachelor of arts from Kalamazoo College and his JD degree from University of Michigan Law School.

A team operating as Wahlen Advisory Group of Raymond James in
Waukesha, Wisconsin has joined US-listed Raymond James, having
previously worked with Edward Jones.
The advisors joining the firm’s employee advisor channel are Melissa “Missy” Wahlen and Chris Knight. Previously, they managed more than $200 million.
