Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – State Street, Wilshire Advisors

The latest senior moves in the North American wealth management sector.

Wilshire
Advisors has appointed Jason Schwarz to chief executive,
effective immediately. He is succeeding Andy Stewart, who
will assume the role of executive chairman and continue to
provide strategic guidance.
The firm concentrates on alternatives, outsourced chief investment office work and consulting.
With more than 25 years of experience in financial services, Schwarz most recently served as president and deputy CEO at Wilshire.
In other changes, Hanna Valva and Jason Hubschman assumed roles of co-chief operating officers. They succeed Scott Condron who is moving to a senior advisor role.
Valva will continue in her role as chief technology officer.
Wilshire advises on over $1.5 trillion in assets and manages over $123 billion in assets as of December 31, 2024. Wilshire is headquartered in the US and has offices worldwide.
State Street
State Street
has appointed John F Woods to chief financial officer. He will be
joining State Street in late August, succeeding Mark Keating
who has served as interim CFO since February.
Woods will report to Ron O’Hanley, State Street’s chairman and chief executive officer.
In the role of vice chair and chief financial officer at Citizens Financial Group, Woods has responsibility for Citizens’ Financial planning, controller, investor relations, strategy and corporate development, treasury, tax, business line finance, and property and procurement groups. Woods brings more than 38 years of industry experience across multiple finance disciplines.
Prior to Citizens, Woods spent several years at Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group where he was most recently CFO of MUFG Americas Holdings Corporation.
