Raymond James
Raymond James has welcomed financial advisor Troy Brewer to Raymond James Financial Services, the firm’s independent advisor channel.

Operating as ClearPlan Wealth Management in Towson, Maryland, Brewer is joined by associates Wendy Franklin-Bayley, Carol Brewer and Marci Griffin.

Brewer was formerly affiliated with Wells Fargo Advisors where he managed about $162 million in client assets.

A 28-year veteran of the financial services industry, Brewer spent the last 12 years at Wells Fargo Advisors. Prior to his tenure there, he was affiliated with Legg Mason Wood Walker and UBS Financial Services. Brewer spent time as a manufacturing engineer and production manager at Westinghouse Electric Corporation before working in financial services.

Withers has expanded its Boston-based intellectual property and venture capital team, adding corporate partner Alex Khalarian.

Khalarian has experience with transactional matters, particularly with respect to mergers and acquisitions, as well as advising clients on general corporate matters. While Khalarian works across all industries, his clients are predominantly tech and life sciences businesses.

Khalarian was formerly with Burns & Levinson LLP.
