The latest moves, appointments and personnel changes in the North American wealth management industry.
Raymond James
Michigan-based financial advisor Michael Dempsey has joined
Raymond James.
Operating in Farmington Hills, Michigan, Dempsey was previously at Wells Fargo Advisors, where he managed over $200 million in client assets. He is joined by senior registered client service associate Lorraine Lalicata.
As Dempsey Wealth Management of Raymond James, the firm serves business owners, corporate executives, families and individuals, pre-retirees and retirees. The Farmington Hills branch is led by branch manager Alp Onder.
Dempsey, who has worked in the financial services business for more than 13 years, is a certified financial planner.
Pritzker Private Capital
Pritzker
Private Capital, has brought back Anna Edgcomb as vice
president for manufactured products, and Alyson Brown has joined
as VP for its services area. Edgcomb and Brown will help source
and execute investments.
Returning to PPC after receiving her MBA from University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, Edgcomb was previously an associate at PPC. She began her career in investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Brown is joining PPC from Wind Point Partners, a middle market private equity firm, where most recently she was a senior associate. Prior to that, she worked at McKinsey & Company.

Equitable
Advisors, a wealth advisory firm with $91 billion in assets
under administration (as of 31 March, 2024), has appointed Lori
Brown and Jim Carroll.
The firm is part of New York-listed Equitable Holdings.
Brown and Carroll moved their practice from Truist, where they managed a total of $326 million in client assets.
The duo have more than two decades of experience and co-lead the practice, Star City Private Wealth. They are based in Roanoke, Virginia.
The advisors moved with their team members, including financial consultant Madelyn Brown, registered client service associate Michele Page and client experience manager Sherry Minnix.
Equitable Advisors has more than 4,300 financial professionals across the US.
