Raymond James
has welcomed investment broker Bryan Cernicek, AAMS®, to Raymond
James & Associates (RJA) – the firm’s employee advisor channel –
in St Louis, Missouri.
Cernicek is arriving from Edward Jones, where he previously managed approximately $256 million in client assets. He leads the Cernicek wealth management team, which includes senior client service associate Lisa Church.
A native of St Louis, Cernicek spent nearly three decades at Edward Jones, becoming an advisor with the firm in 1999. He is a Truman State graduate with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and earned the professional designation of Accredited Asset Manager SpecialistSM from the College for Financial Planning.

PGIM, the investment arm
of US-listed Prudential Financial, is retiring in April.
The firm said that following the retirement of Michael Lillard, John Vibert will be named president and CEO of the $759 billion active global fixed income manager, effective January 1, 2024.
Lillard joined Prudential in 1987 and has served in various investment and leadership roles. In addition to assuming the head of fixed income role in January 2016, Lillard was the firm’s chief investment officer from 2008 to 2021. Prior to assuming CIO responsibilities, he was a senior portfolio manager, as well as head of risk management. He also served as a member as of the US Treasury Borrowing Advisory Committee from 2014 to 2021.
In total, PGIM looks after $1.2 trillion of investments.
