The latest senior moves in the North American wealth management sector.

Raymond James
has welcomed a team of 17 financial advisors and professionals in
Reston, Virginia, to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the
firm’s employee advisor channel.
Operating as The Wise Investor Group of Raymond James, the Washington, DC area advisor team previously managed $2.9 billion in client assets at Baird.
The team includes Simon Hamilton, Gregory Smith, David Mount, Ann Summerson, Chase Hinderstein, Matthew Anderson, Chris Aime, and Nicholas Sorden.
Alongside the financial advisors are portfolio analysts Edward Holton, Kevin Haddon and Vasilios Rajendra; sales associates Matias Rodlauer, Heather Phelps, Angie Miller and Abel Chavez Lopez; and branch operations specialists Tamara Burkhalter and Brendan ”Joe” Hamill.
The group, which is supported by RJA’s Chesapeake Complex, led by complex manager Warren Wright, serves a client base that includes a mix of business owners, executives, retirees, families and individuals.

Strategic Wealth, a US firm with a total of $210 million in
new assets under management, has added three new advisory teams
led by Mark Newfield, Laurie Adams and Kathleen Barlow.
Newfield and his team in Richmond, Virginia, are joining Journey after departing Bleakley Financial Group, a firm under LPL Financial's OSJ, Private Advisor Group. The fee-based financial planning team is rounded out by financial advisor Angela Lessor, financial planner Melissa Clark, and operations leader Danielle Handshaw.
Before joining Journey, Adams, a Seattle-based advisor, spent 14 years at Eagle Strategies, the registered investment advisory (RIA) subsidiary of New York Life Insurance Company.
Barlow is joining from Raymond James. Journey will partially acquire her financial planning practice specializing in serving families and women who are seeking support and confidence in their decision-making.
