The latest moves and appointments in North American wealth management.

Raymond James
Raymond James has brought in financial advisors Keith Haller and Cory Shepard to Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS) – the firm’s independent advisor channel.

The duo operates as Haller and Shepard Capital Group and is based in Kirkland, Washington. They have joined Raymond James from Edward Jones where they previously managed about $327 million in client assets. 

Haller offers over 24 years of experience in the financial services industry as an advisor at Edward Jones. 

Shepard also began his career at Edward Jones where he stayed from 2006 until this transition. 

Insigneo
Insigneo, the the Miami-based independent broker-dealer and registered investment advisory firm, has appointed Peter Isern as a senior vice president in Miami.

Isern will partner with Gonzalo Milian, SVP who has been part of the Investment Professionals Insigneo network since 2018. Isern's and Milian's combined assets are $250 million.

“Peter's decades of financial experience and roots in the South Florida business and philanthropy communities are a tribute to his success. We look forward to working with Peter and Gonzalo as we continue to grow the business together," Jose Salazar, market head US at Insigneo, said.

Isern has nearly 24 years of financial services experience, having worked for Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch prior to joining the UBS Miami branch. After graduating from the University of Miami with a BA in economics, and a certificate in personal financial planning from the University of Miami, Isern subsequently earned his Series 7, 31, 63 and 65 securities licenses. In addition, he holds a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) professional designation.

Milian, who is part of the Investment Professionals network of Insigneo, currently manages affluent clients and institutions from Venezuela, Italy, Costa Rica, United Kingdom, Argentina, Panama, Nicaragua, and other countries within Central, South America and the Caribbean. He has more than 10 years of experience as an international financial advisor and has been registered with Insigneo since January 2018. Milian graduated with a bachelor’s from Florida International University in international business and management in 2012. Milian was awarded an MBA from Florida International University in 2014 and also has Series 7, and Series 66 licenses.

Before going independent with Insigneo, Milian worked for Raymond James & Associates (2015 to 2018) and Morgan Stanley (2012 to 2015) respectively as a financial advisor.
