The latest senior wealth management moves, appointments and personnel changes in the North American sector.
Raymond James
Raymond James
has welcomed financial advisor Aaron Martin to its independent
advisor channel.
Martin arrived from Edward Jones where he managed over $170 million in client assets. As president of Martin Wealth Strategies in Phoenix, Arizona, he provides personalized investment and wealth management guidance to retirees, pre-retirees, business owners, families, individuals and clients navigating sudden wealth. He is joined by administrative associate Evelyn Garcia.
Foran Financial Group
Foran
Financial Group, a New Jersey wealth management team with
about $410 million in AuM, has left LPL Financial to join Carson
Wealth, part of the Omaha, Nebraska-based Carson Group.
The practice has become the Carson Wealth location in Somerville, New Jersey. Clients will keep the same advisors and staff, and brothers Daniel Foran and John Foran, managing partners and wealth advisors, will continue to lead the family-run business.
The move follows a relationship of 17 years between the Foran team and Carson's coaching business, according to Burt White, chief executive of Carson Group.
Carson Group reports more than $65 billion in AuM across a network of over 165 partner offices, serving more than 60,000 client families. More than 50 of those offices operate as Carson Wealth locations.
Janney
Janney
Montgomery Scott has hired Barry Richter, a financial advisor
managing more than $110 million in client assets, from Raymond
James for its office in Radnor, Pennsylvania.
Serving as first vice president, wealth management, Richter is the latest addition to the Radnor office, which earlier this year added four financial advisors overseeing more than $630 million in combined client assets.
Janney, a Philadelphia-based wealth management and investment banking firm owned by Penn Mutual, has been building out its presence in the city’s suburbs.
Richter began his career working on municipal bonds and estate planning. His practice later broadened into advisory management for individuals, families, corporations and foundations.
