Wealth Management-US has added the Focus Wealth Management
team to its Palm Beach Gardens branch. The seven-person team has
joined from UBS, where they managed approximately $1.5
billion in client assets.
The team is led by managing directors and financial advisors James "Trey" Mahoney III and Peter Foley Jr, alongside Justin Warzala, senior vice president and financial advisor. They are supported by Lori DeJesus, senior business associate, Will Garrett, investment associate, Paula Echeverry, registered client associate, and Thomas Cooper, client associate.
The team's client base includes business owners and high-net worth and ultra-high net worth families, with a focus on wealth transfer and exit planning.

Partner, a merchant bank serving founders, family offices and
private equity stakeholders in partnership with Leon Capital
Group, has appointed Lawson Smith, former managing
director at Houlihan Lokey, as MD responsible for overseeing
the firm’s market strategies.
Smith brings 25 years of experience in capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and post-close office-of-the-CFO advisory work. While at Houlihan Lokey, he founded the firm’s accounting and financial reporting practice group and subsequently served in an advisory markets leadership role. Previously, Smith spent 15 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers, including as an MD in the firm’s capital markets and accounting advisory practice, advising financial sponsors and corporations on initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructurings.
Balmville Wealth Group
Financial advisors Frank Patton and Kimberlee Mott have joined
Balmville
Wealth Group, an LPL Financial-aligned wealth management
firm, through LPL's broker-dealer and RIA platforms.
The pair, formerly of PacK Financial, moved from Cetera.
Based in Lexington, Kentucky, Patton and Mott report serving about $150 million in advisory, brokerage and retirement plan assets.
