Quilter, a UK wealth
manager, has appointed Simon Durling as investment director.
Durling will report to Andy Miller, lead investment director.
With more than 35 years’ wealth and asset management industry experience, Durling has worked at firms including Santander Asset Management, St James’s Place, and Barclays Bank.
Most recently he was senior commercial strategist at Santander Asset Management, where he was responsible for improving investment.
Durling’s hire follows a triple investment director hire within Miller’s team earlier this year. Ryan Medlock and Filippo Madonia joined from Royal London, while Nick Davison arrived from Liontrust, in a move to provide further support to financial advisors with its investment solutions.
