Ninety One
London-headquartered Ninety One, a global asset manager, has appointed Sangeeth Sewnath as managing director, Americas.

Based in New York, Sewnath will oversee all institutional and advisor client engagement and drive regional strategy as Ninety One expands its investment, client group and operational business in the Americas.

He will be replacing Philip Anker, who helped the firm build a platform and presence in the Americas. Anker, who will spend the next three months transitioning from his leadership role, will then leave the firm to pursue new opportunities.

Sewnath, an investment industry veteran with 26 years’ experience, joined Ninety One in 2000.  Most recently, he was head of a national client team and had served in client-facing roles since 2013.

Prior to his client-facing roles, Sewnath was Ninety One’s global head of product development. He is a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in the UK and South Africa, and has completed the Harvard Business School Leadership Development program.
