The latest senior moves and appointments in the North America wealth management sector.

Loomis, Sayles & Company, the US-based investment firm, has announced that Colleen Denzler, has been named the firm’s head of ESG (environmental, social and governance). 

Denzler, who is based in Boston, will report to David Waldman, chief investment officer.

Working in the asset management field for more than 35 years, Denzler has served in a number of investment and ESG leadership roles. She began her career at Calvert Asset Management, an early leader in responsible investing, where she was an ESG portfolio manager and analyst. She went on to undertake leadership roles at Janus Henderson, where she was global head of fixed income strategy, and American Century Investments, where she was a senior portfolio manager and head of money markets. 

Denzler subsequently served as chief investment officer of First Affirmative Financial Network, a sustainable investment focused RIA, and president of its industry-leading SRI Conference. Denzler used her expertise as a strategic advisor to asset managers on ESG and sustainable investing. Most recently, she led ESG integration efforts at Smith Capital Investors.

The firm oversees $335.9 billion in assets (as of March 31, 2022).

Raymond James
Raymond James has welcomed Janet Moses as Miami branch manager of the firm’s employee advisor channel. Moses oversees RJA financial advisors and associates within the Miami branch, encompassing offices in Coral Gables, Key West, Miami Beach and Dadeland, Florida.

The branch is part of the South Florida complex led by managing director Stephen Sullivan.

Prior to this, Moses worked at Wells Fargo where she served in various leadership roles over the past decade, including complex manager and regional executive for the metro New York region. Before Wells Fargo, she worked as a manager at JP Morgan Chase and for 15 years as a financial advisor, wealth planner and client investment manager at Smith Barney.

As a longtime Certified Financial Plannerâ„¢ professional, Moses began her career as a tax and fiduciary accountant and earned a Certificate in Personal and Fiduciary Taxation from New York University. She also holds a bachelor of science in business and management from the University of Maryland. Moses has relocated to the Miami area from her former home in New York.
