Switzerland-based LindemannLaw, which added a senior figure to its team a few weeks ago, has now appointed Michael Betschart (pictured) as an attorney. 

Betschart works in business and corporate law, capital markets and stock exchange law, as well as real estate law. As notary public of the Canton of Schwyz, he will also take over the notarization of corporate and civil law transactions, the firm said in a statement. 

Prior to this appointment, Betschart worked in the legal department of Ernst & Young and in various professional and service positions at Swisscom. Most recently, he headed the board office with the secretariat of the board of directors. Five years ago, he joined SIX Exchange Regulation, where he headed the corporate disclosure department. Betschart holds a licentiate in law from the University of Fribourg and a master of law in business law from the University of Glasgow. He is registered in the Bar Register of the Canton of Zurich and in the Register of Notaries of the Canton of Schwyz.

The firm consists of 20 members including 10 senior advisors, each with 10 to 45 years of experience.

UK-based private market investment platform Treble Peak β€“ a digital gateway to Europe's leading private equity and venture capital funds β€“ has appointed Divyesh Hindocha as chief investment officer.

Hindocha, who has spent 30 years advising asset owners based in Europe and the Middle East region in roles at Mercer and Schroders, has advised corporate and state pension funds, insurers, endowments, family offices as well as sovereign wealth funds.

Hindocha is a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.
