The latest moves, appointments and personnel changes in North American wealth management.
LPL Financial
Jason Mochi of Shoreline Private Wealth Management has joined the
broker-dealer and RIA platform of LPL Financial. He
reported serving about $275 million in advisory, brokerage and
retirement plan assets, (based on data as of the end of 2024).
Mochi was formerly with Morgan Stanley.
Based in Santa Barbara, California, Mochi brings more than 30 years of industry experience and serves a clientele of high net worth individuals, primarily those nearing or in retirement.
The Shoreline team includes client relationship manager Janet Waller.
Nasdaq-listed LPL Financial supports more than 32,000 financial advisors and the wealth management practices of about 1,200 financial institutions. It services and gives custody for about $2.4 trillion in brokerage and advisory assets.
W1M
Joshua Moss has been appointed to lead the US private wealth
business of
W1M Wealth & Investment Management.
W1M – based in the UK – announced the move on its corporate LinkedIn page.
Moss, whose profile shows that he is based in London, has worked at the firm for more than nine years. He is also the founder of the US Next Generation Network, and has been a paraplanner at Avidity Wealth Management and a sports consultant for StoneMountain Management Ltd. He is a chartered fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and has licenses and certifications from CFA UK.
W1M was born out of the merger of Waverton and London & Capital in July 2024; the rebrand was made in June 2025. L&C had a long-standing transatlantic angle – catering to expat US citizens and those with links to the US, whose dual residency raised tax and other complications.
Raymond James
A group of advisors who manage about $682 million of client
assets have joined Raymond James at its
independent advisor channel.
The advisors – Reed Thompson, David Erwin, John Pratti, John Nolan, Patrick Sheehan and Jillian Feehan – operate as Touchpoint Financial Advisor Group in Woburn, Massachusetts. The team was formerly with Commonwealth Financial Network.
The practice is joined by client service manager Susan Nolan, who is married to advisor John Nolan, branch operations coordinator Phyllis McGee and client service associate Jennifer Rothwell. The practice serves a variety of clients including individuals, families and business owners.
Keebeck Wealth Management
Keebeck Real Estate, an investment capability of Keebeck
Wealth Management – a firm that concentrates on private real
estate – has appointed Abbas Kazmi to build the
business. The team is based in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Kazmi began his career at Credit Suisse in real estate investment banking, advising on capital raising and strategic transactions across REITs, lodging, and gaming companies.
