Key Family Wealth, the multi-family office division of Key Wealth
– part of Ohio-headquartered KeyCorp – has
appointed Brian Hrabak as investment consultant.
Hrabak is responsible delivering custom investment solutions for ultra-high net worth clients in the firm’s Central Region. Hrabak is based in Cleveland and reports to Joe Stone, national managing director of Key Family Wealth Investments, the firm said in a statement last week.
Prior to this role, Hrabak was a senior managing director at Clearstead Advisors, managing complex client relationships consisting of retirement plans, healthcare and nonprofit organizations as well as three family offices. Earlier in his career, he served as an equity research analyst at Longbow Research and a senior tax associate at Arthur Andersen.

Advisors has appointed Jacob DuBose as a wealth manager.
He is the seventh advisor to have joined the US firm in the
second half of this year, it said in a statement
last week.
DuBose previously worked at Empower (previously called Personal Capital), where he led a team that managed more than $425 million in assets for nearly 300 high net worth individuals and families, business owners and trusts. During his six years at Empower, he was a senior financial advisor on the private client services team.
Prior to Empower, DuBose spent nearly 10 years as a senior financial consultant at TIAA-CREF where he specialized in financial planning, while earning his CFP® certification in 2019.
Savvy was founded in 2021. It recently hired John Khoury and Maya Joelson as principal wealth managers, joining Michael Most, Frank Remund, Erich Yost and Ryan Bond.

Financial Group announced last week that Nicholas Bair has
joined Cetera Advisors via Wilde Wealth Management Group.
Bair will assume the role of managing partner leading Wilde Wealth Management Group's new Sun City-Surprise office in Surprise, Arizona.
The wealth manager had almost $148 million in assets under administration as of April 30, 2023.
With more than 15 years’ experience in the sector, Bair is a member of the Sun Health Council of Professional Advisors and has earned the Certified Financial Planner® and Chartered Financial Consultant® designations.
MFS Investment Management
MFS
Investment Management has appointed Edward M Maloney as chief
executive officer, effective January 1, 2025.
He will succeed and report to Michael Roberge, who will assume the role of executive chair.
Maloney joined MFS in 2005 as an equity research analyst, rising to various roles including chief investment officer in 2019.
The firm’s history dates back almost a century: In 1924, MFS launched the first US open-end mutual fund. As of November 30, MFS had about $575.8 billion in assets under management.

Raymond James
has welcomed financial advisor Michael Kennedy to its independent
advisor channel.
Kennedy, who founded Horizon Wealth Planning, is joined by client service associate Renee Blackwelder at the team’s office in Winter Haven, Florida. Kennedy has joined from Edward Jones, where he managed nearly $100 million in client assets.
Kennedy began his career in financial services in 2009 and spent 14 years at Edward Jones. A Florida native, he graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in finance.
