Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – KKR, RFG Advisory, Raymond James

The latest senior moves, appointments and personnel changes in North American wealth management.

KKR
KKR, aka Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, has appointed Lauren Goodwin as managing director and chief investment strategist for the firm’s Global Wealth Solutions business.

Goodwin will lead efforts to develop new practical tools for financial advisors and adapt KKR’s market insights for wirehouses, RIAs, private banks, and independent broker-dealers.

“Advisors have more information at their disposal than ever, but the macro landscape has only grown more complex and investors are under increasing pressure to rethink how they build portfolios,” Goodwin, said. “I’ve been impressed by KKR's commitment to pairing differentiated investment solutions with hands-on engagement and rigorous market research.”

Prior to her new role, Goodwin worked at New York Life Investments, where she most recently served as chief market strategist. Previously, she served in senior roles within the firm’s multi-asset solutions team focusing on research, asset allocation, and thought leadership. Earlier in her career, she worked at Wells Fargo, Frontier Strategy Group, JP Morgan, and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). Goodwin holds an MA in international economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a BA in international relations from the University of Southern California. She is a CFA charterholder.

RFG Advisory
RFG Advisory has appointed Mark Gilbert, co-founder and CEO of Zocks Communications, and Jim Patrick, a seasoned financial services executive, to its board of directors.

The firm has also invested in Zocks, a business that delivers AI-driven workflow automation and business intelligence for financial advisors. RFG took part in Zocks’ Series B round, co-led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and QED Investors, alongside other new and existing investors.

The move comes after RFG launched ClickONE, an offering that draws together data, workflows, and tools so that advisors can operate more efficiently from a single experience.

Raymond James
Raymond James has welcomed a team of three financial advisors to its independent advisor channel.

The team, comprising Alex Lerner, Joseph Matovick and Oscar Manrique, was previously affiliated with Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network where they managed about $480 million in client assets. They are joined by registered client service associate Vladimir Zusman and operate as LKMM, based in Brooklyn, New York, with additional presence in Bay Harbor, Florida.
