Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – KKR, Blue Owl Capital

The latest senior moves, appointments and changes in the North American wealth management sector.

KKR, Blue Owl Capital
A former executive at KKR’s global wealth unit has joined New York-listed Blue Owl Capital, according to Bloomberg.

Blake Shorthouse has been named global head of family capital. He will be based in London and report to James Clarke, global head of Blue Owl’s institutional business.

Shorthouse left KKR after about a decade at the US firm, where he led teams focusing on family offices worldwide, including in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Blue Owl, which had about $250 billion of assets under management at the end of last year, hired former Brookfield Asset Management executive Rosamond Price earlier this month as head of its EMEA private wealth unit.
