Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Haynes Boone, Crescent Grove Advisors, Others

The latest senior wealth management moves, appointments and personnel changes in North America.
Haynes Boone
Haynes Boone,
a law firm, has welcomed partner John Collins III to the
firm’s Dallas office.
Collins advises high net worth individuals, families and family offices on sophisticated tax, estate planning, wealth transfer and business planning matters. Before returning to private law practice, Collins spent 17 years with PwC in its tax and estate planning practices.
Collins is the third lateral partner to be appointed in September, following the additions of Derek Lipscombe and Alex Pratt in its labor and employment practice group. With more than 25 years’ experience, Collins is the sixth attorney to join the firm’s family wealth and estate planning practice group within the last year.
Collins, who has created generation-skipping and family dynasty trusts designed to span multiple generations, advises prominent families through multi-phase estate planning. He collaborates with investment management and funds professionals on family office structures, family limited partnerships, profits interests and related matters. Collins has co-authored numerous publications and regularly speaks at national training conferences and client seminars. He has also served as an adjunct university professor.
