The latest moves, appointments and personnel changes in the North American wealth management industry.
Gresham Partners
Chicago-based Gresham Partners,
which has $9 billion in assets under management, has promoted
Irene Zhang to investment director.
Zhang, who joined the firm in 2020, has played a significant role in evaluating and selecting external managers, developing investment strategies, and overseeing private market investments, including buyout, growth, venture, and private real assets, Gresham Partners said in a statement.
In her new role, Zhang will be a senior member of the private team reporting to Sean Warrington, partner and head of private investments.
Prior to Gresham, Zhang worked in PwC’s Deals practice, advising Fortune 500 clients on complex accounting issues during M&A transactions. She holds a BS in accounting and a master of accounting science with a concentration in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign.

chief growth officer.
Schwantz, who has worked in platform strategy, sales leadership, and successor success for 25 years, has served in executive roles at Pershing, Morningstar, eMoney and, most recently, as chief revenue officer (CRO) at Advisor360.

Partners, an RIA with more than $20 billion in assets
under advisement, has promoted Matt Ackermann (pictured) to chief
brand officer. He joined the firm in 2020 as chief content
officer.
Ackermann will work with president Andree Mohr, chief marketing officer Becca Zophin, and chief growth officer Rob Sandrew.
A 25-year veteran of the financial media industry, Ackermann held various reporting and editorial positions before joining Integrated, including serving as director of multimedia content at InvestmentNews from 2014 to 2020.
