Dunn & Crutcher, the US law firm, has appointed Kira Idoko to
join its investment funds practice group as a partner in the
New York office.
Idoko, formerly senior vice president, private funds at Brookfield Asset Management, will focus her practice on the formation and operation of private funds.

Idoko has advised on the capital raise or maintenance of real estate, infrastructure, private equity and credit products ranging in value from $200 million to $14 billion, including flagship funds, open-ended funds, private wealth vehicles, and separately managed accounts. She is experienced in fund formation, including jurisdictional and structuring matters, product development and implementation, regulatory compliance, and operational support.
Before Brookfield Asset Management, she served as vice president and assistant general counsel at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Idoko began her legal career at Weil, Gotshal & Manges. Idoko graduated from Harvard Law School in 2009 and from Howard University summa cum laude in 2004.
