Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Foundation Source, RBC Wealth Management US

The latest moves, appointments and personnel changes in North American wealth management.

Foundation Source
Foundation Source has appointed Erin Harrigan as chief financial officer, continuing a run of changes at the US-based organization.

Harrigan has worked at Foundation Source since 2015.

As CFO, Harrigan will oversee financial planning, risk management and performance reporting for all the entities and business units under the Foundation Source umbrella and contribute to M&A strategy, the firm said in a statement.

Foundation Source, which works, as its name implies, works with private foundations in the US, has been busy with a series of changes. Over the past 18 months, it has acquired four companies in the philanthropic services space: PG Calc, Vennfi, Giving Place and, most recently, Pacific Foundation Services. In September 2023 GTCR, the private equity house, acquired Foundation Source and at the same time appointed former Refinitiv wealth solutions head Joseph Mrak.

With more than 20 years of financial management experience, Harrigan most recently served as senior vice president of corporate finance at Foundation Source. Prior to that, she served in key roles at Fortress Investment Group and United Technologies Corporation.

"Erin has been an invaluable leader at Foundation Source," Mrak said. "She has guided our financial operations through periods of rapid growth and increasing complexity with vision, precision, and deep care for our mission and team.”

As of June 30, 2025, Foundation Source supports more than 2,300 private foundations and more than 1,800 nonprofits, administers $40 billion in charitable assets, and facilitates more than 180,000 grants and planned gifts annually.
